DanceSport South Africa (DSSA) in conjunction with SADTA will hold the 2021 Ballroom and Latin American DSSA National Championships from 8th to 10th October 2021 at the Heartfelt Arena in Tshwane, Pretoria.
This is a qualifying event for representing South Africa in the WDSF World Championships in 2022. Due to lockdown restrictions, as a result of Covid-19 pandemic, all protocols to ensure minimal spread of the pandemic shall be followed.
In this regard, a decision was taken that the 2021 SA’s will be run under the following conditions:
NO ACHIEVER SECTIONS.
All Dancers will wear masks while dancing, however a double floor will be run and dancers will be able to rest after each dance – more detailed information to be given closer to the time.
The athletes will be informed if any regulations pertaining to the hosting of this event change.
Further communication regarding conditions and requirements for entry will be contained in the entry form.
The competition is open to;
Dance Styles: Standard and Latin American Level: Rising Star to Championship
Age groups: Junior 2 to Senior 3
Styles: ProAm Standard, Latin American, Smooth and Rhythm,
Sections: Open Gold and above, Rising Star and above
